      Been absolutely lashing down here now for the last hour following light rain since 9am... The wind is really picking up too, some limbs blown off trees locally here. 6.4° and dropping. Feels bitter out. Fire lighting time again!

        I think this system was over cooked by the models... hard to see where 30mm is going to fall, let alone 60mm. It will be gone by this time tomorrow.
        145 mm on the record for WS at Prosperous

        Maybe local factor like    roof-run-off blown that way

          Only 7.4mm here so far today. 

          I thought leaves would not be a factor this time of year but when out and about this morning there were a lot of new leaves (twigs, small branches and bloosom) blown off trees and on the roads.
