Well done lads, keep the photos coming in. This time last year, we were all getting snow.
If it doesn't rain between the showers, it'll be fine.

Very light covering of very wet snow at my location this morning. I'd say I am just below the snow level. Moderate accumulations further up. Low of 0.9c during the precip last night/this morning.

My mum was working there today and she said it was awfull down there with the snow inches deep all over the road etc... meanwhile here it snowd from 11am to 2:45 then it turned to rain and melted the 4 inches we had and infact the mountain had 6-7inches in the end up but its nearly gone becauses of this rain! >:D

Drove from Dublin to Belfast this morning from 8am. Sleet near Drogheda; thin covering of snow on fields after that; heavier cover of snow on fields and side roads were white north of Dundalk near border; after that snow cover was very light again; next to nothing near Belfast; any snow falling was very light at any time; all gone on return journey this afternoon except on mountain-tops. Car thermo went from 3C to 1C or 0C up north.

You picked an interesting day weather wise for a trip up north.  :)

I'd put it off from earlier in January because of the conditions and by the time it got re-arranged last week it looked like this week would be mild enough - but then you never can tell a week in advance can you.  ;)  The conditions were never bad on the main roads though.
