Just an update I was talking to therealboss on this as I was thinking of getting one also but no point having two so close and I learned that with the LD250 you can use a MOXA Serial to Ethernet unit to enable connection at a remote location.
therealboss is looking into it so hopefully in the not too distant future there will be an update.
I had planned on putting the detector in my new house which is under construction and will be for another 12 months or so as it has better vision and is another 3 miles from Mt Leinster
